A simple meditation practice is essential for anyone who seeks a more peaceful life and state of being. The word "practice" is key, though. It can be a challenge to quiet our busy minds, but the rewards of a calmer, more centered way of being is worth the bit of time and effort that it takes to practice meditation. Start small, be patient with yourself, and gradually build up to deeper meditations if you feel drawn to do so. You really can start with just a few conscious breaths.
